Students in K3 through 4th grade go to the library once a week. Each week, Mrs. Diane reads a book to each class and does a craft or game that coordinates with the book.

Students in 1st through 12th grades are allowed to check out books daily. The library manages the Accelerated Reading Program with the Treasure Chest for 1st-4th grades. 

Students must meet the following requirements to go to the Treasure Chest:

1st - read 4 books on their reading level with an 85% comprehension cumulative average

2nd - read 6 books on their reading level with an 85% comprehension cumulative average or earn 3 points

3rd - read 6 books on their reading level with an 85% comprehension cumulative average or earn 3 points

4th - read 8 books on their reading level with an 85% comprehension cumulative average or earn 4 points

Once a month, Farm Bureau’s Macy Connell reads a book and has an activity planned for one of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade classes.
