Meet Our Resource Officer
Serving as Crisp Academy’s School Resource Officer for the past 2 years, Corporal Spurling brings 3 years of total SRO experience and a decade of dedicated service with the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office. A certified dog handler for 3 years, he is committed to keeping our campus safe while building strong connections with students. Outside of school, you’ll find him at the race track, the ball field, or behind the grill.

Charlee is a 4‑year‑old German Shorthaired Pointer who was imported all the way from Germany. He became a certified detection canine through South GA K9’s program in Dooly County, and now he’s a beloved part of our school family. Charlee’s favorite things include running, relaxing in his bed, soaking up attention, and seeing all of his kids here at Crisp Academy.
