Crisp Academy Tuition does not cover all of the expenses of operating a private college preparatory school committed to meeting the needs of students at all levels of achievement. As an independent school, Crisp Academy receives no financial support from federal, state, or local governments. Supplemental funds raised through voluntary contributions to the Annual Campaign Fund, class fundraisers, school clubs, and personal gifts are essential if Crisp Academy is to maintain a comprehensive, well-rounded educational program which offers challenging academics and a variety of extracurricular activities to our students.
Charitable donations to Crisp Academy are tax deductible in accordance with the IRS.
Annual Campaign Fund
The Annual Campaign Fund is Crisp Academy's largest fundraiser. It is an event that culminates in late Winter/ early Spring. The Academy's most recent annual campaign featured a raffle which paid out over $10,000 in prize money in exchange for individual contributions.
GA Private School Tax Credit
The tax credit was passed into law in July 2008. Under the new law, you can redirect a portion of your Georgia income tax liability to provide scholarship assistance to incoming Crisp Academy students that are currently enrolled in public school. You will receive a tax credit on your state income taxes and a charitable contribution deduction on your federal income taxes for the amount donated.

Our students, faculty, and staff are heavily involved in several class-related fundraisers throughout the school year. These include the Charleston Wrap wrapping paper sales, Fall Festival, and a magazine drive. Our Library also sponsors a Scholastic Book Fair each Spring.
The Booster Club sponsors a Century Club program through which a member and one guest can attend any home sporting event for free provided it is not a playoff game. Century Club memberships are $150 per year for adults, $50 per year for students. Additional fund raisers are organized throughout the year.
The Grandparent's Club currently has 93 members. This organization provides support to school-sponsored projects and events. They have a "Trash and Treasure" sale periodically. Volunteers to help with this are welcome. Come help this group turn trash into cash!
Two of the ways that someone can donate to Crisp Academy is through Memorials or Donations. If there is someone you would like to remember or honor with a contribution just call the office to make arrangements.
White Tail Weekend
This is an annual event sponsored by Crisp Academy. Guides, lodging, and meals are provided to participants for a weekend of deer hunting on prime whitetail deer habitat. Several hunter packages are available. Proceeds from the hunt go directly to benefit the academic and athletic programs of Crisp Academy.
Crisp Academy accepts monetary gifts and memorial dedications. Supporters who wish to earmark their donations for specific projects or programs of the school, such as the library, technology lab, athletics, or buildings/grounds may do so.
