Ways To GiveTuition does not cover all of the expenses of operating a private college preparatory school committed to meeting the needs of students at all levels of achievement. As an independent school, Crisp Academy receives no financial support from federal, state, or local governments. Supplemental funds raised through voluntary contributions to the Annual Campaign Fund, class fundraisers, school clubs, and personal gifts are essential if Crisp Academy is to maintain a comprehensive, well-rounded educational program which offers challenging academics and a variety of extra curricular activities to our students. Charitable donations to Crisp Academy are tax deductible in accordance with the IRS. Annual Campaign FundThe Annual Campaign Fund is Crisp Academy's largest fundraiser. It is an event that culminates in late Winter/early Spring. The Academy's most recent annual campaign featured a raffle which paid out over $10,000 in prize money in exchange for individual contributions. Class FundraisersOur students, faculty, and staff are heavily involved in several class-related fundraisers throughout the school year. These include the Sally Foster wrapping paper sales, Fall Festival, and a magazine drive. Our Library also sponsors a scholastic book fair each Spring and the Birthday Book Club. Booster ClubThe Booster Club sponsors a Century Club program through which a member and one guest can attend any home sporting event for free for the school year. Century Club memberships are $100 per year for adults, $50 per year for students. Additional fund raisers are organized throughout the year. Grandparents ClubThe Grandparents Club currently has 93 members. This organization provides support to school-sponsored projects and events. They have a "Trash and Treasure" sale periodically. Volunteers to help with this are welcome. Come help this group turn trash into cash! They are also in need of volunteers to be lunchroom helpers. If you are interested in volunteering, call the school to help. White Tail WeekendThis is an annual event sponsored by Red Pebble Farms, a local hunting preserve. Guides, lodging, and meals are provided to participants for a weekend of deer hunting on prime whitetail deer habitat. Several hunter packages are available. Proceeds from the hunt go directly to benefit the academic and athletic programs of Crisp Academy. Birthday Book/Video ClubThe birthday book/video club honors a person and also increases our library book collection. Club memberships are $20 per year per person. For more information, visit the Quick Links and Download section of our home page to download a copy of our birthday book/video club form in .pdf format. Adobe Reader is required. Supporters who wish to earmark their donations for specific projects or programs of the school, such as the library, technology lab, athletics, or buildings/grounds may do so.
